Replacing an old rooftop unit?

Most Australian caravans have a 360×360mm or 400×400mm roof opening, which is exactly what these models are built to suit. Before you order, it helps to know three things: the brand and model you have now, the size of the roof opening, and the thickness of the roof.

If yours is an odd size, or the roof has been patched or reinforced, we can check it for you before anything is ordered in.

Installed “from” prices assume a suitable existing roof opening, sound roof structure and an adequate electrical supply. Unusual repairs, roof alterations, reinforcing or extra electrical work are quoted separately. Standard inbound freight and handling is already allowed for in the installed-from price.

The current myCOOLMAN Upright Series — 12/24V dual-zone upright fridge/freezers with Climate Class T tropical ratings, digital dual-zone control, Bluetooth app control and a 3-stage battery monitor. Built for Far North Queensland caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers, 4WDs and ute canopies. Fit always depends on your cavity dimensions, ventilation clearances and 12/24V supply.

Which size suits me? 80L — compact 4WD and ute canopies, camper trailers and smaller caravans. 115L — more capacity for touring 4WDs, larger canopies, campers and caravans. 205L — large-capacity hybrid campers, RVs and caravans. 250L — maximum capacity for large caravans and motorhomes.

Caravan product questions

Can I buy a rooftop air conditioner without installation?

Yes. Every rooftop air conditioner on this page can be bought supply-only for Mission Beach collection or regional delivery. If you would rather we fit it, we also offer professional installation with an installed-from price.

Will a new unit fit my existing roof opening?

Most caravans have a 360×360mm or 400×400mm roof opening, and the models here are designed to suit those common cutouts. Before you buy, check your existing brand and model, the roof opening size and your roof thickness. If you are unsure, send us a photo of the roof and we will confirm.

How long will delivery take?

Some products are in stock — others are available to order. Normally allow 5–10 business days. We will let you know if anything is running longer than that.

How much is freight?

Bulky-item freight and handling is $149 per order for collection from Mission Beach, or $350 per order for regional delivery within our normal Cassowary Coast service area. Contact us before ordering for delivery outside our normal area.

Do you install what you sell?

Yes. We are ARC licensed and a qualified Truma Partner, and we install caravan and RV air conditioning across the Cassowary Coast and Far North Queensland.

Which myCOOLMAN upright fridge size should I choose?

The 80L suits compact 4WD and ute canopies and smaller caravans, the 115L gives touring 4WDs, larger canopies, campers and caravans more capacity, the 205L is the large-capacity choice for hybrid campers, RVs and caravans, and the 250L is the maximum upright capacity for large caravans and motorhomes. Measure your cavity and compare it with the dimensions on each product page before ordering.
