Why this model suits Far North Queensland

2.5kW of Truma cooling with a variable-speed compressor is aimed at bigger vans that need to hold temperature for hours, not just cool down quickly.
The 2.0kW heat pump is the strongest heating of the four models here — useful for Tablelands trips and cool, wet-season mornings.
At 28.7kg it is still light for its capacity, which keeps roof load and payload sensible on a long van.
Truma's air distributor spreads air along the van rather than blasting one spot, which matters in a longer floorplan.

Will this replace my existing rooftop air conditioner?

The Aventa Comfort 2G suits 380×350mm and 400×400mm roof openings. A 400×400mm opening is usually a straight swap; a 360×360mm opening normally needs enlarging.

The roof unit is approximately 1008 × 665mm, so check for solar panels, hatches and aerials close to the existing opening.

Supported roof panel thickness is 25–110mm.

This is the model to choose for vans from about 7m up; smaller vans are usually better served by the Compact Plus 2G on weight and footprint.

Our standard replacement price assumes a suitable existing roof opening, sound roof structure, a suitable electrical supply and normal access to the van. Unexpected structural repairs or electrical alterations are quoted separately before we go ahead. Standard inbound freight and handling is already allowed for in the installed-from price.

Will the Aventa Comfort 2G replace my existing unit?

If your roof opening is 400×400mm or 380×350mm it is generally a direct replacement. A 360×360mm opening normally needs enlarging first. Check there is about 1008 × 665mm of clear roof around the opening.

Comfort 2G or Compact Plus 2G?

Comfort 2G for vans from roughly 7m and up, or where you want the strongest heat pump. Compact Plus 2G for shorter vans, tight roof space, or where every kilo counts.

Does the colour change the price?

No. White and black are the same price and the same unit — choose your colour above before you buy.

Can I buy it supply only and have someone else install it?

Yes, you can buy it supply only. The extra 3-year Truma parts warranty applies when we supply and install it, and the electrical work must be done by an appropriately qualified person either way.
