Why this fridge suits Far North Queensland
- Climate Class T rated for tropical ambient use, with the same platform controls as the rest of the current upright range.
- 112L with an 18L compartment is the size that suits most touring setups — a proper shop without giving up a whole wall of cabinetry.
- Only 100mm taller and 45mm wider than the MCMU80, so it often drops into a larger canopy or camper cavity that a full-height fridge never would.
- 3-stage battery monitor and 70W draw keep things sensible on battery and solar when you are free camping.
- Dual zone lets you run 18L as a freezer for a trip, or take the compartment out and use the full 115L as fridge space.
Will it fit my van or canopy?
- Compare your cabinet or canopy cavity with the overall size of D560 × W520 × H752mm before you order.
- Height is usually the deciding dimension against the MCMU80 — check what is above the opening as well as behind it.
- Allow the manufacturer's ventilation clearances around and behind the cabinet so the compressor can shed heat — that matters far more in Far North Queensland than down south.
- Check you have a suitable 12 or 24V DC supply, correctly sized and protected, with any new circuit work carried out by an appropriately qualified person.
- Measure carefully before you order. We are happy to talk it through, but the buyer is responsible for confirming the cavity suits the stated dimensions.
- A myCOOLMAN MCMU115 trim kit (around $79.95 RRP) is available to finish the surround neatly.

Installation available — quoted to suit the vehicle/caravan. Cabinetry, ventilation and 12/24V wiring vary a lot, so we quote fridge fitting individually rather than publishing a fixed price.
