Why this fridge suits Far North Queensland

  • The NextGen variable-speed R600a compressor modulates rather than cycling flat out, which keeps power draw and noise down when you are off-grid on the Cassowary Coast.

Will it fit my caravan?

  • Compare your existing cabinet opening with the flush cut-out of approximately 488W × 626H × 459D mm, or the door-outside cut-out of approximately 488W × 626H × 417D mm.
  • Allow the manufacturer's ventilation and installation clearances around the cabinet so the compressor can shed heat — this matters more in Far North Queensland than anywhere else in the country.
  • Check you have a suitable 12/24V DC supply, correctly sized and protected for the fridge, wired by an appropriately qualified person where any new circuit work is needed.
  • The door is reversible, so plan which way you want it to swing and make sure it clears benches, walls and drawers when fully open.
  • Measure carefully before you order. We can talk you through it, but the buyer is responsible for confirming the opening suits the stated dimensions.

Installation available — quoted to suit the caravan. Cabinetry, ventilation and 12/24V wiring vary a lot between vans, so we quote fridge fitting individually rather than publishing a fixed price.

Is the C60i big enough for two people?
For a couple doing shorter trips, or a van where cabinet space is limited, the 60L C60i is a sensible size — approximately 50L of fridge plus a 10.2L freezer compartment. If you shop for a week at a time or travel with kids, look at the C85i or C115i.
Will it run on 12V in my caravan?
Yes. It runs on 12 or 24V DC. The supply needs to be correctly sized and protected for the fridge, and any new circuit work should be carried out by an appropriately qualified person.
How do I know it will fit my cabinet?
Measure your existing opening and compare it with the flush cut-out of about 488W × 626H × 459D mm (or 417mm deep for door-outside installation), then allow the manufacturer's ventilation clearances. Measure carefully before ordering — we are happy to talk it through with you.
Does it come with a mounting frame?
Yes, a mounting frame is included. The fridge also has a reversible door, so it can be set up to open whichever way suits your layout.
Is this the current HP model?
Yes. We only sell the current HP (High Performance) versions with the NextGen variable-speed R600a compressor — we do not list the superseded non-HP models.
